EXPOSED Inc.warmly invites you to broaden your understanding of the various ways domestic violence impacts lives. Join us in exploring the journey of life after abuse, encompassing both triumphs and challenges. Through engaging discussions, we delve into the complexities of the thrivers' experiences.
LaVerne is co-founder of Exposed The Podcast/Incorporated. She is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker, advocate, community leader and a THRIVER.
LaVerne finally gained the courage to expose her own life story of domestic violence by publishing her autobiography “Overcoming The Darkness: Surviving Domestic Violence.”
Little did she know this would be the beginning of her journey to turn her PAIN into PURPOSE & POWER. LaVerne believes transparency builds strength and jumpstarts your healing journey, which then leads us to our PURPOSE & POWER. Her prayer is that by telling her story it will give other survivors permission to stand in their truth and not be ashamed.
LaVerne also realized men are a huge part of the solution to ending domestic abuse. She is committed to including, partnering, and encouraging men to be involved in the mission to end violence against women.
After 7 years of service and becoming a thriver, Natalie Hayden remains a steadfast co-founder of Exposed The Podcast/Incorporated, embodying resilience in the face of domestic abuse.
Known for her unwavering dedication to service, Natalie has transitioned from survivor to thriver, leveraging her experiences to empower others. As a media executive and community philanthropist, she continues to uplift her community, championing the cause of healthy relationships and survivor advocacy.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Natalie's journey began after leaving an unhealthy relationship of 12 years, determined to transform her pain into purpose. With courage and audacity, she embarked on a mission to shift the narrative of her life, guided by faith, love, compassion, and hope. Recognizing the transformative power of healthy relationships, Natalie has become a beacon of inspiration, demonstrating that healing and growth are possible for all.
Natalie's commitment to raising awareness and education about domestic violence has led her to collaborate with various organizations and stakeholders, recognizing that collective efforts are essential to address this public health issue. Her advocacy has earned her invitations to tables both known and unknown, where she continues to strategize and collaborate on aligned efforts.
As Nelson Mandela once said, "It always seems impossible until it's done." Natalie Hayden's journey from survivor to thriver is a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and community support in overcoming adversity and effecting positive change.
Our mission as a nonprofit 501©3 is to provide our community with an opportunity to THRIVE without violence, by educating on what a healthy & unhealthy relationship should look like, by providing the tools needed to prevent becoming a victim of abuse and bringing awareness to how domestic violence is destroying communities and families along with being a national health issue.
