Domestic Violence Awareness #LETTHEMLIVE 5K RUNW/WALK
Our country is in a state of EMERGENCY, although, domestic abuse is not new and women have been victims of abuse for centuries. The current challenge is that domestic violence has become a public health crisis on top of dealing with the COVID19 stay at home orders across the Nation. Victims are on lockdown with their abusers, which take their situation to another level.
The nationwide increase in domestic abuse is not surprising, but enough is enough! It’s time to Let Her Live! She need to live mental and physically.
According to the National Health Center on Domestic Violence, 1 in 4 women in the US will experience violence by a current or former spouse/boyfriend at some point in her life. On average 3 women a day are being killed by a spouse or boyfriend. Which is approximately 20 people per minute in the United States. In a one year, this is about 10 MILLION WOMEN. This is astounding.
EXPOSED Inc. believes that a future without domestic violence will require the engagement of MEN. Our call to action is that MEN stand up and publicly speak up to help eradicate domestic violence. We need you…the country needs you.
